Every Time I Die studio update

Every Time I Die frontman Keith Buckley was recently interviewed by UK-based Rock Sound and gave a few comments on the recording process of the band’s next full-length and debut for their new label, Epitaph:

“The new album is not yet done and we don’t know what it is called yet. We still have stuff to finish on the record when we get back from this U.K. tour [with GALLOWS] so we shall see about names then.”

“I am really surprised at how it came out,” he said. “I did not know that we had it in us to be this fast and heavy anymore. You listen to a lot of bands and you can pinpoint the exact time that the dudes decided they were too old for it and started going through the motions. We are not going through the motions on this record at all, it is a legit punk record.” The band released The Big Dirty in 2007.

Ryan’s Hope members form Reaganomics, plan to record this summer

Joliet, IL trio Ryan’s Hope have formed a pop-punk side project called The Reaganomics. Frontman Terry Morrow had this to say about the venture:

We’ve been dicking around with some pop punk type songs, and greg and nick have been doing a lot of writing and singing, so we decided to throw those ideas into demos and form a sort of side band called the reaganomics.

Some Reaganomics demos can be heard here, and the band plans to record more songs this June in Chicago, in addition to writing and recording new Ryan’s Hope songs before the summer ends.

Ryan’s Hope last released the Chaos EP in 2008, which is still available for free download at their website.
