Social Distortion to head into studio January 2010

In a new interview, Mike Ness confirmed that Social Distortion will be hitting the studio in January. Ness also confessed that he can’t write while on tour, but that the music comes when he’s out “living life. ” He explained:

The main thing is to just keep going. We have such a momentum going right now, that’s what keeps it fresh and exciting. Our level of success has been a very gradual thing. To be more popular now than you were 10 years ago, but still to have 30 years behind your belt is kind of a weird phenomenon
