Gratuitous Space Battles Update Released

Updates to Gratuitous Space Battles have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted. The major changes include:

Gratuitous Space Battles

  • Added support for totally separate mod folders
  • Fixed alt+tab black screen hang
  • Fixed bug where some rebel missile turrets would not render correctly
  • Fixed the rare but dreaded ‘turret mapping not found’ bug.
  • Added a trio of new mini buttons to the deployment screen to let you filter the list of deployable ships by class.
  • Added confirmation dialog for when you quit the deployment screen after making some changes
  • Fixed the display bug for larger than 2048 width monitors
  • Fixed crash bug in survival mode

Fang Island: “Daisy”

Sargent House act Fang Island have posted the new video for “Daisy.” The song comes from their forthcoming debut for the label and was directed by Carlos Charlie Perez (Li’l Wayne, Vampire Weekend. The video was entirely shot in a single take and features fake presidents and gym geeks in what might best be called surrealist choreography.

Fang Island’s debut album, Fang Island will be released February 23, 2010 via Sargent House.
