Murder City Devils to play New York and Philadelphia in 2010

Murder City Devils Murder City Devils has announced a pair of shows on the US east coast in the winter of 2010. The band will perform at Philadelphia’s Theater of Living Arts on February 12th and New York’s Nokia Theatre on the 13th. This will mark the influential group’s first trip to the area since 2001.

Sub Pop Records reissued the band’s entire back catalogue on vinyl earlier this year. As previously announced on December 30th the band will play in Seattle at the Market with Past Lives and Cold Lake. On the 31st they’ll be in Portland for a show with Jello Biafra and the Guantanamo School of Medicine at the Roseland Theatre.

Tours: 2010 Take Action Tour

The dates for the 2010 Take Action Tour have been announced. The tour will be headlined by We The Kings, and will feature Mayday Parade, A Rocket To The Moon, There For Tomorrow, and Stereo Skyline on select dates. The trek kicks off on January 25th in Atlanta and will wrap up on March 3rd in Dallas.

The tour, now in its nineth year, is once again produced by Hopeless Records through its non profit organization Sub City. The Hot Topic sponsored event will raise awareness and funds for Patrick Pedraja and the National Marrow Registry. 10% of the cost of each ticket sold will be donated to the charity. Attendees will also have the opportunity to register for the National Marrow Registry at each tour stop.
