Midwestern post-hardcore quartet the The Felix Culpa have announced the release of their sophomore album. Sever Your Roots, a 14 song collection, will be self-released by the band on January 23rd. A record release show will take place the same night at Chicago’s Metro with support from Suns, Loyal Divide and Robbers.

The Sword have announced a short January tour during which they promise to preview some new material from their next album. The record is expected in 2010 and follows Gods of the Earth from 2008.

Death metal act Pathology has signed to Victory Records. The band was notably formed by drummer Dave Astor of spazz/hardcore outfit The Locust and vegan militants, Cattle Decapitation. The band previously released the demo Surgically Hacked, the full length, Incisions Of Perverse Debauchery and their second full length, Age Of Onset, this year.

Tennessee metal act The Tony Danza Tap Dance Extravaganza have unveiled more footage from the studio via Metal Injection. The band is currently recording their third album Danza III: The Series Of Unfortunate Events, due in 2010 from Black Market Activities.

Earlier this year the band released some pre-production tracks on their MySpace page.

Trustkill Records has signed Victory in Numbers. The band has toured with Fall Out Boy, Emery, Sugarcult, Breaking Benjamin and Every Avenue. The band recorded their debut with producer Scott Stallone and features a selection executive produced by Matt Carter from Emery.
