Activist synth-punk collective Intro5pect have announced a tour of the US west coast in support of their recent Record Profits EP. The tour will feature Brad Logan of F-Minus and Leftover Crack filling in on guitar.

The Menzingers to release new full-length in April
Red Scare has officially announced that it will be releasing the next full-length from The Menzingers, Chamberlain Waits. The band recently began tracking at Atlas Studios with producer Matt Allison in anticipation for an April 2010 release. Once out, it’ll follow up 2009’s Hold on Dodge and serve as the band’s first full-length since 2007’s A Lesson in the Abuse of Information Technology.
Next week, the band will hit the road for a few dates with Anti-Flag, Aiden and Cancer Bats.

Circa Survive discography due out on vinyl in 2010
Equal Vision Records has announced plans to release the entire discography of Circa Survive on vinyl. The first piece of the puzzle is a 7″ of b-sides on clear vinyl with a hand-stamped label, viewable here; all proceeds from this 7″ will benefit the recovery of Trent Jacobi, who was injured in October 2009 while on tour with Fear Before.
The label will then press the rest of the band’s output – 2005’s Juturna and The Inuit Sessions, and 2007’s On Letting Go – over the next two months. Each release will be limited to 1,000 copies.
The band recently signed to Atlantic Records, with their major label debut expected sometime in 2010.

Buddyhead’s Best & Worst Records Of 2009
The venerable tastemakers over at Buddyhead have unveiled their 30 Best & Worst Records of 2009. Records that made Buddyhead’s good side include releases from Future of the Left, The King Khan and BBQ Show, Obits, and Meat Puppets, while albums from Dashboard Confessional, Reel Big Fish, Muse, Vampire Weekend and Weezer and others made the website’s cut as some the worst records of 2009.

Alkaline Trio: “This Addiction”
Alkaline Trio have posted a stream of their upcoming single, “This Addiction,” from their highly anticipated seventh album of the same name. There’s a catch, however – one must post an advertisement of sorts on either Facebook or twitter to hear the song. Check it out here.
Slated for a February 23, 2010 release, This Addiction will be the Trio’s first album under their own Heart & Skull label, an imprint of Epitaph Records. The band will hit the road for an extensive American tour with Cursive beginning February 16.
