This Is My Suitcase have a full stream of their album on Paper and Plastick titled The Keys To Cat Heaven. It will see a vinyl release in early-Spring.
Adeline Records has launched a Haiti-benefit charity auction. The label, owned by members of Green Day, is auctioning a number of items including Green Day and The Living End, test pressings, limited edition bags, signed stuff, video games, Broadway Calls vinyl, AFI vinyl and much more. All proceeds go directly to the non-profit Doctors Without Borders in support of Haiti.
Coalesce and Harvey Milk have announced a week of tour dates in the spring. Each band will be supporting recent releases, with Coalesce releasing Ox in 2009 and Harvey Milk’s re-mastered eponymous debut slated for a January 26, 2010 release through Hydra Head Records.
Laundromat-centric web series Dirty Laundry has posted a new episode, this one featuring Mike Watt. In it, Watt talks about D. Boon, words of wisdom from Joey Ramone and the Jackass theme song (“Corona”, by The Minutemen). Orlando, FL’s Virgins will enter the studio to record their second full-length on February 11. Tentatively titled Animals, the band will once again record in Louisville, KY at Head Banging Kill Your Mamma Music with Chris Owens of Lords producing. Once out, it’ll follow up 2008’s Miscarriage.

The A.V. Club Chicago is reporting that seminal emo outfit Cap’n Jazz will be playing a mini reunion set tonight at the Empty Bottle, as part of the “The Joan Of Arc Don’t Mind Control Variety Show”. The show will center around Tim Kinsella’s many, many bands and is being put on in conjunction with Joan Of Arc Presents: Don’t Mind Control, an eighteen band compilation featuring outfits that all included a member of Joan of Arc at some point.

Leatherface has posted the title, cover art and track listing for their long awaited new full-length. The Stormy Petrel is slated for a February 23, 2010 release through No Idea Records in North America and on the band’s own Big Ugly Fish Recordings in their native UK. This will be the band’s first new studio album since 2004’s Dog Disco, and they’ve already planned a goodamountoftouring on this side of the pond.
