My Chemical Romance has completed work on their next full length, according to a Billboard report. Gerard Way also told NME that the band is planning a smaller club run for their next tour. The musician and comic book writer explained:

The record we’ve made reflects the size of the venues we’re going to play them in. We can play these songs in stadiums; we can play them in arenas. But we can also play them in punk clubs, and maybe that’s all people are gonna be able to go to next time around, who knows?” People just wanna fucking rock, I don’t know that people want to make statements right now. I can’t comment on anybody else’s record but I certainly feel something in the air, like, people just want the truth and they don’t need a big story.

Their next record is due out in 2010.

Adolescents have announced that they will be playing four stops on this summer’s Warped Tour. The band said that all four dates are in June and in California, which means they are likely playing the San Diego, Carson, Mountain View and Ventura dates from June 24-27.

The band has also announced that they should be finished their upcoming followup to 2005’s O.C. Confidential by the end of February and will also be releasing a split 12″ with Burning Heads. Furthermore, the band has announced that they will be rescheduling their planned spring tour through South America.

Long Island, NY’s Jukebox Romantics will be playing the final seven dates of this summer’s Vans Warped Tour. The shows, which will be the band’s first on the west coast, will be in support of their self-titled debut for Altercation Records, released in late 2009.

The dates are viewable here. About 60 bands have already been confirmed for legs of the tour; among them are Motion City Soundtrack, Every Time I Die, Set Your Goals, Andrew W.K. and many others.
