Cheap Girls post free acoustic EP for limited time

Cheap Girls Paper + Plastick’s Cheap Girls recently offered their Acoustic EP as a free download last week for 12 hours, and are now making it available for 24 hours to fans who may have missed it starting…now!

Beginning right now and ending this time tomorrow, fans can download the 5-song acoustic EP here . Recorded in Philadelphia at Drexel University’s WKDU during the band’s December tour, the EP features acoustic takes on songs from the band’s debut Find Me a Drink Home as well as their recently released sophomore effort, My Roaring 20’s [12 inch].

The free EP coincides with a two-week tour alongside Drag the River.

Anthony Anzaldo (Ceremony) talks about F*ck Drugs

In an interview with scenepointblank, Anthony Anzaldo briefly spoke about a new straight-edge supergroup he’s helped start called Fuck Drugs:

“Myself, Pat Flynn (Have Heart), Andy Nelson (Paint It Black) and Nate Manning (Cruel Hand) are starting a straight edge band called Fuck Drugs. We will release an EP sometime in 2010.”

No word yet on a title, release date or label for the band’s debut EP, but we’ll keep you posted.
