Due out February 9, 2010, the album will feature 35 acoustic and previously unreleased tracks.

Polish Political Party Goes After BEHEMOTH Frontman Over 2007 Bible-Tearing Incident

Gazeta.pl reports that two and a half years after vocalist/guitarist Adam “Nergal” Darski of Polish extreme metallers BEHEMOTH destroyed a Bible during a concert Poland, the national conservative Polish political party Prawo i Sprawiedliwosc (PiS) wants the band’s frontman to be prosecuted for offending people’s religious beliefs ? a criminal offense under Polish law.

Mute to reissue first three Buzzcocks albums

On February 9th Mute will reissue the Buzzcocks first three studio album as double-disc deluxe editions. Another Music in a Different Kitchen, Love Bites, and A Different Kind of Tension will be augmented with singles, demos, live cracks, Peel sessions and more. Another Music in a Different Kitchen includes a full length 1977 show recorded at Manchester’s Electric Circus, while Love Bites now features a 1978 show from Manchester’s Lesser Free Trade Hall.

The Buzzcocks last released Flat-Pack Philosophy in 2006. They’ll play the upcoming Musink festival with NOFX, The Damned and Face To Face among others.

Missing METALLICA Fan’s Father: ‘People Don’t Just Vanish’

Roanoke, Virginia’s WSLS 10 reports that the parents of missing Virginia Tech student Morgan Harrington have invited a North Carolina-based search organization to help locate their daughter and warned Tuesday that the 20-year-old’s October 17 disappearance at a METALLICA concert means the Charlottesville area is not as safe as residents may believe.
