Street Dogs hit the studio in February

Street Dogs Boston’s Street Dogs have annoucned plans to record a new full length in February, their fifth record overall. Frontman Mike McColgan made the announcement on MySpace:

We are set to go into the studio to record our new album in February.The studio we will record at is the Blasting Room in Fort Collins,Colorado.Also we are excited to be working with Rick Barton as he will be co producing our fifth release with Johnny Rioux. We expect to release this next effort some time in late August or early September 2010 on Hellcat records and we will launch a worldwide headlining tour to support the record.Very soon as well we will be finalizing and anouncing upcoming US dates and European tour plans.

The new record will follow up 2008’s State of Grace. It will be their second for Hellcat Records.

Tours: Duane Peters (acoustic)

Duane Peters has announced acoustic dates in January, February and March alongside longtime collaborator Ace Von Johnson (The Duane Peters Gunfight, The Generators, U.S. Bombs, Murphy’s Law). Their sets will include renditions of U.S. Bombs songs along with tracks from Peters’ extensive catalogue of side projects. Some of the dates are still top be confirmed to check back with Von Johnson’s MySpace page for more details as they come in. .
