Cap’n Jazz announce second reunion show, vinyl reissue

Cap'n Jazz Cap’n Jazz have announced a second reunion show. The gig will be happening on July 17 at the Bottom Lounge in Chicago, IL.

A month prior to said show, Jade Tree Records will be reissuing the band’s 1998 anthology Analphabetapolothology on vinyl for the first time, as a double LP with new photos, show fliers and liner notes by Tim Kinsella. The vinyl is currently slated for a June 15, 2010 release.

The influential band first reunited last month for a mini-set in Chicago.

Rad Fest launches website, finalizes lineup

New Mexican Disaster Squad The inaugural Rad Fest has launched its official website and finalized its lineup. The festival will be happening on May 14 and 15 in downtown Wilmington, NC. Notable bands appearing include New Mexican Disaster Squad, Leatherface, None More Black, Ann Beretta, Dead to Me, The Sainte Catherines and a slew of others.

Killswitch Engage singer leaves tour

Killswitch EngageKillswitch Engage vocalist Howard Jones has been forced to leave the band’s current headlining tour with The Devil Wears Pradaand Dark Tranquility due to unforeseen circumstances. All That Remains vocalist Phil LaBonte will be filling in for a few shows while the band contemplates a decision for the remainder of the tour.

Killswitch Engage is touring in support of last year’s Killswitch Engage.
