Interviews: Kevin Nunn (North Lincoln)
North Lincoln was a band from Grand Rapids, Michigan that managed to stick around the punk scene for a little over ten years. They released two full-length albums, two CD ep’s and five 7″ records. Their last full-length, Midwestern Blood, was released in 2009 by No Idea Records.
On January 16, 2010, the band played their final show to over 600 people at Mulligan’s Pub in Grand Rapids. Recently, RJ Cresswell conducted a retrospective interview with Kevin Nunn, the band’s vocalist and guitar player.

Acid Tiger (members of Converge, Thursday) detail debut LP
More details have been announced regarding the upcoming debut from Acid Tiger. The band, which features Ben Koller (Converge, United Nations) and Lukas Previn (Thursday, The A.K.A.s, United Nations), will release their eponymous debut on April 27, 2010 through Deathwish Inc.

Gainesville, FL’s Douglas Shields and the X-Factors have entered Golden Tone Studios with Rob McGregor (Hot Water Music, Against Me!, Radon) to record their debut full-length, BEERHORSE: The Album, which the band intends to self-release. A tour is currently being planned as well.

The album was recorded late last year at Sharkbite Studios in Oakland, California with Ryan Massey of American Steel producing and mixing. The band will be supporting the record with appearances at both this weekend’s Harvest of Hope Fest and at Rad Fest this May.

Rad Fest adds Cheap Girls, Rehasher, Toys That Kill, more
The inaugural Rad Fest has announced a handful of new confirmations. Bands recently added to the bill include Toys That Kill, Rehasher, Cheap Girls, Army Of Ponch, The Slow Death, The Shaking Hands, and The Holy Mess. This on top of already announced appearances from the likes of Leatherface, New Mexican Disaster Squad, Dead To Me, The Sainte Catherines and a slew of others.
Rad Fest will be happening on May 14-15 in Wilmington, NC. More information is available here.
