Dropkick Murphys detail annual Boston Homestand
Dropkick Murphys have announced opening acts for the band’s upcoming run of shows at Boston’s House of Blues on March 12-17. Bands scheduled to share the stage with DKM include Sick Of It All, Have Nots, Swingin’ Utters, Filthy Thieving Bastards and others.
The band’s new CD/DVD, Live on Landsdowne, is slated for a March 16, 2010 release through the band’s own Born & Bred Records, part of Warner’s Independent Label Group.

Bad Religion to give away ’30 Years Live’ this spring
Bad Religion have announced plans to give away a free live album this spring to members of their mailing list, while hinting that tracks that will end up on the band’s new album may be included in the live set (appropriately titled 30 Years Live), as they intend to play a few new songs on their upcoming tour.
More information is available here. The band will enter the studio on May 1 to begin work on their fifteenth album.
