Ted Leo and the Pharmacists: “Everybody Wants To Rule The World” (Tears for Fears)

The A.V. Club has premiered a new feature dubbed Undercover, a series of music videos that will feature 25 bands covering 25 different songs inside a small, round room at the site’s Chicago offices. The first edition features Ted Leo And The Pharmacists covering the 1985 Tears For Fears hit, “Everybody Wants To Rule The World.”

The band is currently on tour in support of their new album, The Brutalist Bricks.

Tours: Snapcase to reunite for European shows

Snapcase Seminal Buffalo, NY hardcore outfit Snapcase will be reuniting next month for five shows in Europe, and according to the band’s MySpace blog no more dates will be added.

The band was considered at the forefront of the 90s hardcore movement, largely spearheaded to popularity by Victory Records. They called it quits in 2005, with their final studio album being 2002’s End Transmission.
