Face to Face, Circle Jerks, The Adolescents confirmed to play City Underground Fest

Details for this year’s inaugural Underground Fest have been announced. The festival will be happening on May 8 at Fort Mason in San Francisco, CA. Besides a skateboarding competition and tattoo expo, bands scheduled to perform include Adolescents, La Plebe, The Ataris, Circle Jerks and Face to Face.

Comadre detail upcoming release, repress and tour

Comadre Comadre recently announced some details regarding their upcoming split with Glasses. It will be a double 7″ with gatefold packaging and should be available in June via Bloodtown Records and Vitriol Records. The band is currently streaming the first track from the split, “The Sweeter the Juice,” on their MySpace page.

Additionally, the band announced that they will be repressing A Wolf Ticket jointly between Bloodtown Records and Paper and Plastick. Unlike the original, which was a one sided 12″, the repress will be a 45 RPM 10″ with gatefold packaging. The repress should be out in June and the band is hoping to have both in time for their tour of Europe with Punch and west coast tour with Glasses. Dates are available here.

Refused’s ‘The Shape of Punk to Come’ reissued on vinyl

Epitaph Records has unveiled a double LP reissue of the 1998 classic from Refused, The Shape of Punk to Come. The first pressing is on blue vinyl, limited to 500 copies and is only available through the label’s webstore.

The reissue hits stores on June 8, 2010 and the band may or may not be up to something to commemorate the release.
