North Lincoln: “Swan Song”

North Lincoln have posted their final recorded song. The band explained:

When we (North Lincoln) broke up with had about half a new album written that we ended up scrapping but then ended up recording 3 of the last songs about two months ago and just finally finished them up. We also finished mixing the recording of our last show which will go up for free download eventually and is like 22 songs. But yeah, people can check out Swan Song on our myspace page. It was the last song we wrote and is about the band being in the process of breaking up or knowing that we need to.

The band split up in October of 2009. They released Midwestern Blood in 2009.

Therefore I Am (2006-2010)

Equal Vision Records post-hardcore act Therefore I Am have announced their split. The band said this:

It is with great dismay that I am announcing the end of Therefore I Am. There are a lot of reasons behind our decision but we would prefer to keep them personal. We are all still friends and that’s what matters most. This was by no means an easy decision for any of us. Life changes and you must change with it, regardless of the frustrations that come with said adjustments. The 5 of us are lucky and blessed to have had the opportunities we were given. In the past 5 years, we’ve come a long way. We’ve toured with heroes, crossed oceans and did a lot of things we never thought we’d be able to do in our respective lifetimes, let alone our twenties. Most importantly, we’ve acquired a large collection of friends and created an insane catalogue of memories. To say the very least, we’ve seen a lot of stuff.

The band is planning final shows for November 19th at Rocko’s in Manchester, NH and November 20th at Lupo’s in Providence, RI. They released The Sound of Human Lives last year.
