Here’s yet another “band touring to Fest” story: those scamp(s) in O Pioneers!!! have announced their October itinerary, which will see the band hit the east coast before heading to Gainesville, FL for The Fest 9 over Halloween weekend.
The band released Neon Creeps in 2009.

Tumbledown, the alt-country project of MxPx frontman Mike Herrera, have detailed their sophomore full-length. The record is titled Empty Bottle and it’s due out October 26, 2010 via End Sounds. Once out, it’ll follow up the band’s self-titled debut, released in 2009.
The band will also be doing some touring on the west coast and midwest shortly after the album’s release. Those dates can also be found below.

Vacation Bible School have signed with Underground Communiqué. The band has commenced recording of their debut for the label with producer Dan Precision (88 Fingers Louie) at Bombshelter Studio as well as with Joe Gac (The Catburglars, The House Gloria Vanderbilt) at Red Door Studios. More details are expected soon.
The band most recently released a split 7″ with The Goddamn Doo Wop Band in April via Traffic Street Records.

Albany, NY’s After the Fall have unveiled a couple of new songs. Head to the band’s MySpace page to hear “Eradication” and “Throgs Neck” (the latter featuring Tom Rheault from No Trigger). The band’s new LP Eradication is due out October 12, 2010 via Mightier Than Sword.
The group has also announced a few release shows in New York, as well as an appearance at The Fest 9 in Gainesville, FL, two shows in Quebec with The Sainte Catherines and Nothington and a trip to Costa Rica alongside Millencolin and A Wilhelm Scream.

Thanks to the overwhelming worldwide response to the comic, we are going to make more versions of the comic available on the web. This will include the current version in jpg form, a pdf version , a jpg version with no text and a jpg version with no text, speech bubbles or sound effects. This should help get the comic localized and give people the raw panels to play with and make their own comic. We will make sure to link to the best ones!
We will have more info shortly on when this will happen and any other media the comic will be released on.
