Social Distortion confirm new album release date

According to the latest issue of Rolling Stone, Social Distortion will be releasing their Epitaph Records debut, Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes on November 23, 2010.

The album is their first since Sex, Love and Rock ‘n’ Roll which was released in 2004. The band released a Greatest Hits album in 2007 and will be touring next month.

OFF!: “Upside Down”

OFF! Thrasher Magazine is hosting a new video from OFF!. The band is the new project from Keith Morris (Black Flag, Circle Jerks), Dimitri Coates (Burning Brides), Steven Shane McDonald (Redd Kross) and Mario Rubalcaba (Rocket From The Crypt, Hot Snakes). The video itself is for “Upside Down” and unlike most music videos, is a live recording and performance.

The group’s first EP is slated for a October 12, 2010 release, with a box set of four new EPs planned for November 23, 2010.

Such Gold: ‘Pedestals’ EP

Such GoldSuch Gold have posted a full stream of their upcoming EP, Pedestals. You can check it out on their bandcamp page. The release features guest vocals from Kenneth Vasoli (Person L / the Starting Line) and Karl Buechner (Earth Crisis).

The official release on 6131/Mightier Than Sword was still some time away, but has been digitally released immediately in light of its recent leak. Physical release details are being promised Monday.

The band’s last release was last year’s Stand Tall EP.

Exclusive: Make Do And Mend – “Night’s The Only Time Of Day”

Make Do and Mend We’re happy to bring you an exclusive video from Make Do and Mend. The video is an acoustic recording of “Night’s The Only Time Of Day” from the band’s upcoming full length, End Measured Mile, due out October 12, 2010 via Paper and Plastick and Panic Records. It’ll be the band’s first full-length, though they’ve released a couple of EPs – 2007’s We’re All Just Living and 2009’s Bodies of Water – as well as a new split with Touché Amoré that’s currently up for pre-order.

Black Cards (ex-Fall Out Boy) post new song

Black Cards, the new project from Fall Out Boy‘s Pete Wentz, have posted a new track. Pete announced the project in July and talked about the influence of songs like “Two Sevens Clash” and “Warriors.”

Wentz’ bandmates from Fall Out Boy remain active in a variety of projects, including hardcore act Burning Empires, metal project The Damned Things and even performing with Earth Crisis.
