Healing Gnome, Halloween?, Pick the Mutation, Tweet Tweet

Healing Gnome

There is only one way to heal, holding the Gnome!

This Coop game is all about the Gnome and his magical healing properties. There is only one way to heal and that is by holding the Gnome. Better share him with your teammates!

Halloween?

If you haven’t checked out the Halloween Costumes on our Facebook pages, what are you waiting for? Hunters, Zoeys, Bills, and even Rochelles are all there to TERRIFY YOU!!! For the poll, the Hunter handily won followed by the Tank. PC players then chose Bill and 360 players chose Ellis.

From a quick headcount in the real world, I think the order was Hunter, Ellis, Zoey, and then Bill. The Tank seemed to be too much for most people’s costume making abilities.

Pick the Mutation.

Pick Next week’s Mutation:

1)Bleedout Versus

2)Healing Gnome

3)Hunting Party

4)Lone Gunman

5)Taaannnkk!

Anti-Flag, Black Pacific, Heartsounds at 5th Annual Rock To Roll Fundraiser

The lineup has been announced for the fifth annual Rock To Roll fundraising event. It is set at The Key Club in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday December 8, 2010. The event will directly benefit the non-profit organization UCP Wheels For Humanity. Headlining the event this year is Anti-Flag and the night will also feature performances from The Black Pacific, Punk Rock Karaoke, Heartsounds and Destruction Made Simple.

Since 1996, UCP Wheels For Humanity has helped over 44,000 children and adults living in the poorest of conditions, in developing countries such as Zimbabwe, Vietnam, Ukraine, Mexico, Mongolia, and many others. Last year, the Rock To Roll benefit concert at Slims in San Francisco raised $23,000 for UCP Wheels For Humanity. Combined Rock To Roll fund raising efforts have raised over $100,000 since the annual event began in 2006. The average wheelchair costs $150 to refurbish, which means Rock To Roll has directly improved the lives of roughly 670 individuals in need.

Previous years have featured a variety of bands, from Against Me! and Mike Ness in 2006, Bouncing Souls and Flogging Molly in 2007, Alkaline Trio and Gaslight Anthem in 2008 and NOFX and Dead To Me last year.

Propagandhi looking for label

Propagandhi has posted an update revealing their label status and what kind of deal they are looking for:

We’ve had enthusiastic, but vague inquiries from a few labels and we really appreciate that. But we’re not looking for vague. We’re not looking for nebulous “what do you guys want?” inquiries. We’re looking for a strong, specific, enthusiastic offer that lays out in detail what your organization will do for us in exchange for releasing what will certainly be our wildest record yet.

The band released their last album, Supporting Caste, on Canadian indie Smallman Records, which since folded.
