AFI launches radio station through Slacker Radio

AFI and Slacker Radio have launched Radio AFI, a internet radio station featuring songs from the long-running California quartet as well as artists that have inspired their sound and associated commentary from AFI band members. Frontman Davey Havok explained:

Radio AFI is a truly eclectic mix of music including songs that inspire us and what we love to listen to. Slacker is doing new and innovative things with music and we’ve enjoyed building this experience to provide our fans with a personal look into our world.

Along with Davey, drummer Adam Carson, bassist Hunter Burgan and guitarist Jade Puget were all responsible for selecting the music on the station which is said to include artists ranging from Jimi Hendrix and Marvin Gaye to Nine Inch Nails and Bad Religion.
