Boston, MA’s Vanna have signed with Artery Recordings reports Lambgoat. The band released two albums and an EP on indie powerhouse Epitaph Records including 2006’s The Search Party Never Came and 2007’s Curses. Their final release on the label was 2009’s A New Hope.
The band’s debut for the label is titled The Honest Hearts (EP) and is due out October 12, 2010 .

Panic Records has added upstate New York’s Casting Curses to their roster. The label will release a new EP from the group entitled Cold All Over Again; a release date along with a pre-order is expected soon. Once out, it’ll follow up the band’s 2009 EP, Heartificial.
The band is streaming the opening track from Cold All Over Again, “American Ignorance,” at their MySpace page.

A trailer has been posted for Fested: A Journey to Fest 7. The film is a documentary about the annual punk festival in Gainesville, Florida and promises a film “in the spirit of Decline Of Western Civilization” and was filmed over 2 weeks in 2008 and featuring interviews and performances from many performers. A DVD of the film is due out September 15, 2010. You can find more information on the official website.
The producers have also released a donation-suggested soundtrack from the film which you can find here.
