Buffalo-based hardcore outfit Every Time I Die have posted the second episode of their new weekly eseries entitled Sh*t Happens: The Series?. This latest endeavor into international debauchery finds the boys again teamed up with Space Monkey Studios to bring you the finest in “unapologetic tomfoolery.” Longer episodes of the show will be released on an upcoming DVD due out in October. The band explained this episode:

Each and every Punknews story is built from tips contributed by you fine folks, and here’s what got the community talking this week:

• Bad Religion is hitting the road to support their upcoming full length with The Bouncing Souls and Off With Their Heads. The band also detailed their new full length The Dissent of Man.
• The Fest 9 website launched with full confirmation on the lineups and with lineups and ticket details. The annual beard convention will feature many bands including Chris Wollard and The Ship Thieves, Frank Turner, The Menzingers, Planes Mistaken For Stars, Dear Landlord and Leatherface.
• The guitarist of Oh, Sleeper wrote a candid piece on band finances and the financial challenges that “mid-level” bands face.
• Sound and Fury Festival was shut down following a riot.
• We’re all pretty excited to hear that a new Bomb the Music Industry! record is on the way.
• Fat Wreck Chords is set to reissue Banner Pilot‘s Resignation Day in a remastered, resequenced form.

Earlier this week, the original lineup of Hot Snakes reunited for the encore set of The Night Marchers and Obits show at The Casbah in San Diego, CA; the two bands feature former members of the group, with guitarist Rick Froberg part of Obits and vocalist/guitarist John Reis, bassist Gar Wood and drummer Jason Kourkounis currently performing in The Night Marchers.
