Jay Bentley has posted another album update in the BR Page forums. Jay noted:
As of now, the earliest we could see the studio would be late october, and that would be dependent on material. If we get the recording done before the end of January, it’s entirely possible to have it out by May / June… but that’s a big IF. We will have a lot of road time this year to talk about recording. We will probably all have a better idea after the Warped Tour…
It was last December that Jay noted that Bad Religion may not have a chance to record the follow-up to 2007’s New Maps of Hell anytime soon because of upcoming touring commitments for this year. 2010 will also mark the 30th anniversary of Bad Religion’s formation, which occured in 1980.
