Brian Cogan (The Encyclopedia of Punk)

Last year saw the release of The Encyclopedia of Punk by Punknews.org’s own, Brian Cogan. The book serves as a punk primer, while exploring obscure nooks within the genre. It highlights punk trends and features write-ups on literately hundreds of punk-related bands, and also showcases countless extremely rare and never-been-seen photos of all things punk. The book is an extremely interesting read and should hold court on every punker’s beat up, sticker-covered coffee table. Michael Dauphin recently caught up with Cogan to discuss the book and the preparation that went into it.
