Four Staten Island-based bands will reunite for a benefit show this August.
These include the the Cable Car Theory, who existed from 1997 to 2003, with albums released on Immigrant Sun Records and Defiance Records. Quantice Never Crashed formed in 2004, calling it quits in 2006 having released one album on The Death Scene. The Scarlet Letter released a number of records in their five year career, notably 2004’s How Is Your Heart?. Metal act Cattlepress issued a split 12″ with Agoraphobic Nosebleed and released a record on Hydra Head in 2000.
The bands will be joined by the Resolution at Staten Island’s Dock Street Bar and Grill on August 18th. All proceeds from the show will go to the family of a 4 year old girl diagnosed with bacterial meningitis.
