The ESL Electronic Sports League presents another installment of its Cup Series for Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars. The third edition is set to take place this Sunday from 13:00 CET onwards. Sixteen teams will be able join the single-elimination 6on6 fun, and once again the check-in system from previous cups will be used.

The rule and format changes that were applied prior to the second Weekend Cup remain intact. Matches consist of one map only, the cup starts at 07:00 CST, and that you’ll be required to check-in before starting to participate. Sign ups are open as we speak. Read more for further details.

The first ClanBase OpenCup for Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars draws to a close tonight with Team Dignitas taking on Four Kings. The winner will walk away with ?2000, while the second place team will go home with ?1250. Kompaniet previously managed to grab the ?500 that were offered up for third place, while Team Pelit received ?250 for coming in fourth.

The final match of Activision’s Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars Nordic Championship is set to take place this weekend. Kompaniet and Team BUBU are the two teams that managed to blast their way to this last game and both are looking to take home 7000 SEK in prize money and a set of plane tickets for QuakeCon 2008. The event itself will be taking place at Playz Hall of Game in Stockholm and is open to the public. In addition, TGBF.tv will be providing match coverage, so those not living the area can follow the proceedings.
