“They came, they saw, they pumped fists,” wrote Entertainment Weekly last year about the fans who experienced the “sweaty-heady essence” of the 10th anniversary of the king of festivals, the mighty OZZFEST .

And now, amped up to 11, the summer’s premiere touring concert festival enters its second decade this July with clenched teeth and trademark invincible spirit. OZZfest will roll out July 1 in San Francisco and visit 20 cities, with venues TBA.

Founder and namesake OZZY OSBOURNE is set to headline just 10 shows this summer. Why? “Because after 10 years I feel it’s time to let someone else share the headlining spotlight. We want to shake it up a bit this year,” says OZZY. “I’ve closed virtually every OZZfest performance for a decade now and I feel I can finally let other artists headline our festival and that’s my intention for the future.”

IAYM reports: Crowbars previously announced U.S. tour dates have now been cancelled, as the group are presently drawing up new plans to tour with Corrosion Of Conformity throughout June and July.

Slipknot will be heading out on tour starting March 4th with Lamb Of God and Shadows Fall. Check below for the venue closest to you. And if you are a fan of Slipknot, but have never seen them live, you really need to check them out.

This is absolutely amazing. If I was a stockholder in EA, I would be pissed for wasting so much time and money on a second 3d Ultima MMORPG project, then cancelling it. Once again, EA, You Suck!

First up, is the mad mans festival of music, Ozzy Osbourne and Ozzfest. Straight off of the pain killers and into an amphitheatre near you. Joining Ozzy will be none other than Slayer, Judas Priest with Rob Halford and Slipknot. I didnt see any tour dates listed, but if you are a fan, then drop by Billboard.com and check it out.

Our number two features today is the 10th Anniversary Vans Warp Tour where the line announced includes Bad Religion, the Vandals, Good Charlotte, Lars Frederiksen & the Bastards. All totaled, expect 50 bands to participate. Jimminy Christmas, 50?!?!? Get the full scoop here.

Staying really busy this year is one of my all time favorite live performing bands, Slipknot. This time around, they will be heading the Jägermeister Music Tour, along with Fear Factory and Chimaira to name a few. This will be a small venue tour and if you are in my neck of the woods, check them out on May 2 in Oklahoma City at the Bricktown Events Center. If you have not seen Slipknot live, you are missing one hell of a performance. More details can be found here.
