Guns N’ Roses Postpone World Tour

Guns N’ Roses have, not surprisingly, postponed the start of their upcoming world tour because their bassist “fell down a flight of stairs“. The tour was due to kick off in Japan on April 14th and dates are to be rescheduled for a later date. Check out the press release from the band’s bassist Tommy Stinson below:

I feel so bad right now. I accidentally fell down a flight of stairs. I put my hand down to break my fall and heard a loud ‘pop.’ The next morning my hand looked like a balloon. I went to see my doctor and while the good news is that it’s not broken, the bad is news is it’s severely sprained and I may have done some ligament damage. We had our last rehearsal a few days ago and shipped the gear to Japan and then this happened. I feel horrible.

Longtime Guns N’ Roses associate Del James revealed in a recent online posting that the band’s long-awaited new album, ‘Chinese Democracy‘, is currently in the “mixing” stage.
