Chapel Hill, NC’s Superchunk have titled their upcoming full-length. Majesty Shredding is expected out later this year and will be the band’s first studio album since 2001’s Here’s to Shutting Up. More details are expected soon.
The band has also announced some sporadic tour dates through the summer and fall.

BlankTV is hosting the new video from Blacklist Royals. “American Hearts” comes from the band’s freshly released Paper and Plastick debut, Semper Liberi.
Touché Amoré and La Dispute will soon release a split 7″ through No Sleep Records. Titled Searching For A Pulse/The Worth Of The World and due out July 27, 2010, the 7″ will feature two new songs from each band and vocal collaborations between both bands.

Samiam have announced plans to release a rarities collection. Titled Orphan Works, the 18 song set will be made up of rare tracks from the You Are Freaking Me Out and Clumsy eras. An August release is expected through No Idea Records. Check out the cover art here.
Samiam last released Whatever’s Got You Down in 2006, and cancelled tour dates earlier this year, stating that the band was “on the fritz”.

Someone Still Loves You Boris Yeltsin have detailed their next full-length. The record is titled Let It Sway and it’s due out August 17, 2010 via Polyvinyl Records. Once out, it’ll follow up 2008’s Pershing.

According to this article, Oklahoma City, OK’s Red City Radio have joined Paper and Plastick and are currently writing a full-length. The band plans to hit the studio with producer Stephen Egerton in July or August and the label hopes to have the album out by October. More details are expected soon.
Red City Radio’s 2009 EP, To the Sons & Daughters of Woody Guthrie, will soon be getting a vinyl release via Loose Charm Records.
