Wilmington, NC’s public radio station WHQR recently spoke with Rad Fest curator Chason Huggins about the upcoming festivities this weekend, where bands such as New Mexican Disaster Squad, None More Black, Leatherface and others will be performing.
State of Mind Recordings has added Salt Lake City, UT hardcore outfit Reviver to its roster. The band recently wrapped recording on a new 7″ entitled Potential Wasteland for the label. More information on the release is expected soon.
Members of No Trigger and Wasteland have formed an acoustic trio dubbed Commons. The band’s debut cassette is currently available for pre-order over at Galambis Records. Their first show will take place on May 25 at The Flywheel in Easthampton, MA alongside RVIVR, Ampere and Daniel Striped Tiger.

Loose Charm Records will be giving the vinyl treatment to Red City Radio‘s 2009 EP, To the Sons & Daughters of Woody Guthrie. The release will be a one-sided 12″, limited to 500 copies (100 on transparent yellow vinyl and 400 on white vinyl) and with hand-screened artwork on the b-side of the wax. Each record will also come with a download card packing two bonus tracks that were previously only available in Europe.
Against Me! have unveiled the official video for “I was a Teenage Anarchist,” the lead single from the band’s upcoming full-length White Crosses, due out June 8, 2010.
