Fat Wreck Chords‘ newest signing, Old Man Markley, have posted the title track from their newly released 7-inch, For Better, For Worse. The 7-inch was released yesterday and features a cover of the Screeching Weasel favorite, “The Science of Myth,” on the flipside.

Foo Fighters have announced two shows at the UK’s Milton Keynes Bowl in July 2011. The band will be performing on July 2nd and 3rd and have enlisted support from Biffy Clyro for both shows, Death Cab For Cutie on the first night and Jimmy Eat World on the second.
Adolescents have booked some US and Brazilian tour dates in November and December as well as a handful of shows in the first week of 2011. The band’s long-awaited new album, The Fastest Kid Alive, is expected soon.

Amongst 2010’s vast seas of bands, labels, companies, and every other obnoxious little facet of the music world, it’s easy to lose focus and let everything simply blur together into a giant homogenous blob. Listeners find themselves so inundated with stimulation from every angle that it becomes difficult to illicit any kind of response from anyone. Bomb the Music Industry! have made a name for themselves by provoking response wherever they go. Loved or hated, everyone has an opinion on them, and the fact that they’ve managed to spark communication and debate in a scene where it seems oh-so 2002 to actually express a serious opinion about anything has garnered them enormous respect from many.
