This release, appropriately titled Demo Tape, was the band’s first real recording and features their original lineup of Dan Hanaway and Rob Depaola (The Broadways), Tim McIlrath (Rise Against), and Nolan McGuire; McIlrath notably handles lead vocal duties on the second track, “Single File.” After roughly a decade of collecting dust in the Windy City, it’s been remastered and is being jointly released next week by Solidarity Recordings and Underground Communique.

According to a report from the Gazet Van Antwerpen, the status of Belgium’s massive Groezrock festival lineup is currently in doubt. The bill boasts a number of American bands including The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Bad Religion, Glassjaw, Sunny Day Real Estate, Bouncing Souls, AFI, Pennywise and more. The ability of those bands to reach the festival grounds is currently in doubt due to the lingering ash storms from the volcanic eruption in Iceland.
