Groezrock lineup currently uncertain due to ash storms

Pretend the ash clouds made the mushroom big. In the book it was a shooting star. According to a report from the Gazet Van Antwerpen, the status of Belgium’s massive Groezrock festival lineup is currently in doubt. The bill boasts a number of American bands including The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Bad Religion, Glassjaw, Sunny Day Real Estate, Bouncing Souls, AFI, Pennywise and more. The ability of those bands to reach the festival grounds is currently in doubt due to the lingering ash storms from the volcanic eruption in Iceland.

The organizers are now in touch with band managers and hope that some of the groups are already in Europe. For others there will be some replacements have to be found. The article in Dutch can be found here and the promoters are posting updates to their Twitter account in English.
