With their March tour wrapped up, AFI have announced another short run of dates with Scarlet Grey. AFI have been contributing more than tour dates to Scarlet Grey, with two members of the band – Davey Havok and Jade Puget – contributing vocals and production to the band’s debut EP.
Dine Alone Records has signed Newmarket, Ontario’s Tokyo Police Club. The Toronto label will release the band’s upcoming sophomore full length Champ later this year. The band last released Elephant Shell in 2008 via Saddle Creek Records.
Tokyo Police Club will be playing Coachella this weekend, taking the stage on Saturday alongside Faith No More, Muse, Coheed and Cambria, The Raveonettes, RX Bandits, Frank Turner and The Almighty Defenders.

Moneybrother‘s new album, Real Control, hits stores today courtesy of Bladen County, and we’re celebrating with some prizes. You can win the new album on compact disc, a shirt, and a copy of their previous EP, They’re Building Walls Around Us, and albums from some of the band’s labelmates, the Love Language and the Builders and the Butchers.
The band is heading out on the road in a few days with Against Me! and Dead to Me.

Those Chinese Telephones just can’t quit each other; despite disbanding in early 2009, they’ve continued to play sporadic shows and have now announced a May 26 show in their hometown of Milwaukee, WI, as well as the routing for a June tour around Insubordination Fest with Tenement.
The band’s self-titled 2007 release is being reissued on vinyl by It’s Alive Records and Sandwich Man Records.
