The initial lineup for the Death to False Hope 2 Year Anniversary Party has been announced. The festival is scheduled for January 21-22 at Motorco Music Hall in Durham, NC and will feature performances from Less Than Jake, Off With Their Heads, The Supervillians, Restorations, Riot Before, Spanish Gamble, Greenland is Melting, Blackbirds, Captain We’re Sinking, Mixtapes, Kadets, The Working Dead, Direct Hit! Red Collar, Hammer No More The Fingers, Last Years Men, lurch, and Rain Over Battle. More bands will be announced next week.
Tickets will go on sale on November 8 both through the label’s website as well as through the venue.

My Chemical Romance have posted the first video from their upcoming fourth full length. The record is titled Danger Days: True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys and is due out November 23, 2010.
Epitaph Records hardcore act Every Time I Die is in some trouble for their latest promotional stunt. The band is marketing their upcoming DVD, Shit Happens, and did so by creating fake retweets from celebrities such as Any Dick, Pee Wee Herman, Jimmy Fallon, Kanye West and more.
The result of the self-promotion was apparently “seize (sic) and desist papers” and legal troubles. Frontman Keith Buckley added:
So backpeddling on @TheGunzShow and saying that most of those tweets were fake didn’t appease the celebs that knew they weren’t.
The band released New Junk Aesthetic in 2009.

Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker has released the first video from his upcoming solo album. The track, “Jump Down,” features indie hip hop outfit The Cool Kids. The video is being made available in anaglyph 3D and requires red/blue glasses for the full effect.

Set Your Goals have entered the studio with producer Brian McTernan to begin work on their second album for Epitaph Records. This will be McTernan’s first album with the band, having previously produced albums from Strike Anywhere, Darkest Hour, From Autumn to Ashes, The Loved Ones, Senses Fail and more.
The new record follows This Will Be the Death of Us from 2009 which featured collaborations with vocalists including Turmoil’s Jon Gula, New Found Glory’s Chad Gilbert and Jordan Pundik, Vinnie Caruana of I Am the Avalanche and The Movielife and Hayley Williams of Paramore.

Ben speaks candidly about his anxiety problems and panic attacks which he has suffered his whole life as well as agoraphobia. He talks about how he has little trouble on stage, but the affliction affects other, less public parts of his life.
