Tours: Worn In Red with The Catalyst, The Measure [SA] (east coast)

Worn in Red Worn in Red have announced their tour around The Fest 9. The dates prior to Fest will be shared with fellow Virginians The Catalyst while all post-Fest gigs will feature The Measure [SA].

The band continues to support 2009’sIn the Offing. The Measure will be releasing their new album Notes on October 5, 2010 via No Idea Records.

Make Do and Mend: “Night’s The Only Time Of Day”

Make Do and Mend ThePunkSite.com is hosting a new track from Make Do and Mend. “Night’s The Only Time Of Day” will appear on the band’s upcoming full length, End Measured Mile, due out October 26, 2010 via Paper and Plastick and Panic Records. It’ll be the band’s first full-length, though they’ve released a couple of EPs – 2007’s We’re All Just Living and 2009’s Bodies of Water – as well as a new split with Touché Amoré that’s currently up for pre-order.

Brokencyde detail second album, give middle finger to industry

Brokencyde have detailed their upcoming second album, Will Never Die. The album is due out November 9, 2010. The band made the following statement about the album:

With this whole album, we’re putting our middle fingers in the air toward the entire industry. The album artwork is pretty much self explanatory. We want to smash everything and anything that stands in the way of us making music. We want to show all our detractors that all the hate they spew only fuels our music and makes us that much stronger.

They are, after all, a “fascinating phenomenon.”

Gaslight Anthem: “Songs for Teenagers” (Fake Problems)

The Onion AV Club has posted an exclusive cover of Fake Problems‘ “Songs for Teenagers” as performed by the Gaslight Anthem. The two bands are on tour together right now and frontman Brian Fallon commented:

Fake Problems took us on our first tour. Their new record Real Ghosts Caught On Tape came out yesterday, so we did a cover of ‘Songs For Teenagers.’
