Death By Stereo have revealed the details of their long-awaited new studio album. Frontman Efrem Schulz mentioned in a recent interview that the album is now complete and will be titled Death Is My Only Friend. The record follows Death For Life which was released in 2005. Efrem also mentioned some additional details:
We recorded it with Jason Freese (Green Day) and Jay Baumgardner who has done just about every rad record under the sun! We are so pumped, it blows all the records we’ve ever done away!”
The new album is expected to drop sometime in 2009. It will not be released on the band’s longtime home, Epitaph, however. The band are currently free agents. The group also recently announced some shows with Suicidal Tendencies in December.
