Dillinger Escape Plan set release date for “Ire Works”

Dillinger Escape Plan have set a release date for their upcoming full length. The record is titled Ire Works and is due out November 13, 2007. The release comes on the tail end of some major lineup changes for the band, including the loss of both drummer Chris Pennie and guitarist Brian Benoit.

The album was produced by Steve Evetts (Lifetime, Earth Crisis, Saves the Day) and will be supported via a jaunt we’re calling the Monsters of What-Lazy-Journalists-Call-Math-Because-They-Can’t-Do-Math Tour which will also feature Meshuggah.
