Boston’s Dropkick Murphys have announced a run of headlining dates early next year leading up to their annual hometown St. Patrick’s Day performances. Prior to the six shows in Boston, the band will hit 13 cities beginning February 24th.

The band is also working on finishing their live CD+DVD, Live On St Patrick’s Day 2009, which is expected to be released in time for the shows next year.
