The Dropkick Murphys will be making an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman tonight. For its first appearance on the show the band plans to play ‘The State of Massachusetts,’ from their most recent album, The Meanest of Times. The show airs at 11:30 pm EST. The Late Show’s website is also streaming a web-exclusive of the band performing ‘Shipping Off to Boston’ which can be viewed here.
In other news, The Dropkick Murphys plan on re-releasing The Meanest of Times on March 11. The latest edition includes new packaging as well as five bonus tracks and a DVD containing music videos, live performances and a feature on the band’s involvement with the World Series Winning Boston Red Sox.
