Easton, Pennsylvania based indie rock act Settle have signed with Epitaph Records. The band is currently in the studio recording with Adam Lasus (Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Yo La Tango).
The band was formed in Seattle in 2006 by brothers Nick (vocals, guitar) and Willie Rose (drums). The band’s current line up also features guitarist Dave Goletz and bassist Chris Burcin. To date the group has over 100 songs to their name and have self-released a pair of EPs. In `06 the band won an MTV-sponsored “Best Music on Campus” competition which awarded them a chance to play the network’s annual Spring Break shindig in Cancun, Mexico. Epitaph head Mr. Brett commented in the label’s press release “Settle has everything I admire in a great band: poetry, tunefulness, originality and vision, all pursued recklessly, as if the whole thing might fall apart at any second and you can dance to it.”
The band will release their debut full length on Epitaph in early 2009.
