First details/comments on new Thursday material surface

Though the band has been fairly quiet in terms of providing information about their upcoming release, The Syndicate recently got a hold of a few of the new tracks from Thursday‘s Kill the House Lights – Live and Unreleased which is due out October 30, 2007.

The blog mentions three new songs, “Ladies and Gentlemen: My Brother, the Failure,” “Dead Songs” and “Voices on a String” and much of the commentary talks about the band’s heavy riffs as well as drawing comparisons to songs like “Jet Black New Year,” “Counting…,” and even a mention of Every Time I Die.
