Foxboro Hot Tubs (Green Day) to release physical album in April

Foxboro Hot Tubs, the 50s-style garage band made up (alledgedly) by members of Green Day have a release date for a physical copy of their previously downloadable debut album, Stop Drop And Roll. The record is set for release on April 29, 2008.

The band seems to be following the trajectory of previous “secret” Green Day side project, The Network, which first released their album independently before being “upstreamed” to Green Day’s major label home. Though no details have been made available about the record itself, it looks to be priced as a full length despite the band’s free release being only a six-song EP.

You can still stream three songs from the EP on their myspace page.
