Gallows vocalist Frank Carter is in the news again, this time with a pretty brutal onstage injury during the popular hardcore/punk act’s gig at Stoke Sugarmill.. The incident took place at a maximum capacity show where the band had asked not to have a barrier between the audience and the stage.
Fans piled on to the stage one by one, stagediving and singing with Carter. Shortly into the set, Carter and one fan mock-wrestled and sang together, but both tumbled over in the commotion. Carter’s forehead smashed against the floor, and he started bleeding from the wound. Despite this, he continued the song before leaving the stage and heading to the hospital to get stiches for the head wound.
The band released Orchestra of Wolves in the United States via Epitaph this year.
