Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance has hosted a segment of G4 Television’s Fresh Ink program and spent his time talking about some of his favorite comicbooks as well as the influence of critically acclaimed comic writer Grant Morrison.

Way, who writes The Umbrella Academy, when not performing with MCR, spoke highly of “The New Frontier” (DC Comics), “Kill Your Boyfriend” (Vertigo), “Zombie World: Champion of the World” (Dark Horse), “No. 5” (Viz Comics), and “The Biologic Show #0” (Fantagraphic Books).
