Bassist Jason Myers of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based melodic metallers ICARUS WITCH has released the following statement: “Peter Steele, a true icon, enigma, musical genius and hell of a nice man who I had the pleasure of talking with on several occasions dating back to the early ’90s, has reportedly died of heart failure at the age of 48.
