John Doe (X) and Jello Biafra answer 10 questions on the election

On the heels of a recent feature with Henry Rollins, The Sundance Channel has posted the next two in their series on the election. The two new features include conversations with Jello Biafra and John Doe and promise a “series of political blogs and exclusive content that will provide an independent look at the election.”

Jello had a more cynical look at Barack Obama, who is very popular with many independent musicians, he cautiously notes:

Let’s not forget it was not Bush but Clinton who gave us NAFTA, the WTO, the Telecom Act of 1996 that opened the floodgates for Clear Channel and Fox News, and laugh out loud Abstinence-only sex “education.” Clinton signed Newt Gingrich’s cruel welfare reform bill at the urging of Al Gore. And, yes, it was Clinton who planted the seeds of the economic meltdown when he gleefully deregulated the banks.

John Doe noted:

There will never be a candidate that is far enough left wing for me. It’s a travesty that all candidates now-a-days have to be millionaires.
