Maxeen leaves label, posts new music, updates

Maxeen has posted an update on their status and a bit about their “missing” album, Hello Echo. The album was to be the follow up to Maxeen which was released in 2003.

The band explained:

Our second album entitled Hello Echo was never released, due to the extreme shortsightedness of a major record label that hides behind a rabbit insignia. The three of us are now writing, in our humble opinions, some of the best music we’ve ever created. We will be recording a new 6-song EP in September/October of all new songs.

The band has posted “Suffer and Take It” and “Shout Radio” on their myspace page.
