No new Drag the River album until 2010 or 2011, says Jon Snodgrass

Drag the River Although Drag the River is more or less back together, vocalist/guitarist Jon Snodgrass recently told the Denver/Boulder edition of AV Club not to expect a new record from the band until 2010 at the earliest, saying:

“We’re [Snodgrass and co-conspirator Chad Price] just kind of working on some songs” … “It’ll be done when it’s done, next year or the next one.”

Drag The River’s last proper full-length was 2008’s You Can’t Live This Way, while a rarities collection entitled Bad at Breaking Up was released earlier this year. Snodgrass has kept busy in the meantime, releasing his first solo record Visitor’s Band earlier this year, and a split LP with Cory Branan via Suburban Home Records.
