Mesa, Arizona’s Authority Zero have announced a string of US tour dates for the summer. The band’s new album, Stories of Survival, is set for a June 22nd release on Viking Funeral Records (the imprint founded by Pennywise guitarist Fletcher Dragge, Ken Seaton of Hardline Entertainment and Suburban Noize Records).
The punk/reggae act also released live footage rom their recent “Havoc LIVE” concert performance online at Havoc.tv.

Hellfish has announced the signing of Vancouver-based Beneath Earth & Sky. The melodic hardcore outfit claims influence from Ernest Becker and Samuel Beckett and the band features Greg Bennick, Alexei Rodriguez, and EJ Bastien of Trial, Sean Lande of Strain and By a Thread, and Happy Kreter of Gob.

Kingdom of Sorrow, the group that features Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed and Kirk Windstein Down, Crowbar), have posted a stream of their second album. The band will release their new album through Relapse Records again, and the album is being mixed by mixed by Zeuss at Planet Z Recordings (Hadley, MA).

Public Image Limited have announced a tour of the UK scheduled for July of this year. The legendary post-punk group recently completed a tour of North America.
The band will again feature the line up of vocalist John Lydon, guitarist Lu Edmonds, drummer Bruce Smith and bassist Scott Firth. Lydon commented earlier that the tour would raise funds for a new album, a long follow up to their last studio full length, 1992’s That What Is Not .

Melvins have launched a stream of their album. The record is titled The Bride Screamed Murder and it was released this week through Ipecac. It follows 2008’s Nude with Boots. Like that album and 2006’s A Senile Animal, The Bride Screamed Murder features Coady Willis and Jared Warren of Big Business as part of the rhythm section.

Ottawa, Ontario’s Year Zero have wrapped up recording for their debut album, Year One. The full length is set for a CD release in July via Young Modern, with vinyl coming this summer from Shooting At Decoys in North America and P Trash overseas. The record features 16 songs of what the label’s describing as “catchy, early Lookout-era punk.” You can preview tracks from the release at the band’s MySpace page.
Year Zero will tour Ontario and Quebec this summer with Tiltwheel.
